2008 Adult and Youth Summer Hockey Programs 2008 Adult Summer League*The summer adult league is FULL. We are currently accepting players for our waitlist. To join the waitlist, email Courtney. The final ROSTERS and SCHEDULE will be posted on Sportability on Monday, May 12th. With 4 teams, game times will be 6:45pm and 8:15pm. If we end up with enough players for 6 teams, game times will remain 6pm, 7:30pm, and 9pm. Please check back on Sportability on Monday for the finalized information. Click hereto register with USA Hockey online The Summer Adult League is designed for players that are seeking non-contact recreational hockey. This fourteen-week league will consist of four - six teams playing once per week. Games are scheduled once per week on Wednesday evenings on the American Rink (no earlier than 6pm). The first week will consist of Open Evaluation Sessions on May 7th from 6:00-7:15p and 7:30-8:45p (No refs) to rate players and determine teams. Please bring a Dark and Light jersey for Open Evaluation Session; League jerseys will be distributed on May 14th (after teams are determined). Teams will be posted at facility and on Sportability by Monday, May 12th. League will consist of 10 weeks of Round Robin games from May 14th through July 16th. Three weeks of Playoffs will follow on July 23rd, July 30th, and August 6th followed by a single Championship game on August 13th.

Commissioner: Courtney Spurgeon 2008 Mite Summer Drills & Scrimmage SkateJune 8, 2008 through August 17, 2008 A 10-week structured yet fun summer program for Mites (Max age is 8 years old) including hockey drills and scrimmages. Players will play once per week. Coaches from the South Indy Youth Hockey Association will lead drills and scrimmages. This program is intended for mini-mite level kids moving up to mite, as well as, current mites returning from last season. The 90 minute sessions will consist of drills designed to fine-tune the ability of the mite level player. Maximum capacity #32 participants. The program will consist of 45 minutes of practice, followed by 45 minutes of scrimmage. ALL PARTICIPANTS AND COACHES MUST BE REGISTERED WITH USA HOCKEY. The program scheduled times are listed below (Please refer to our facility schedule page, as times are subject to change): Sundays 5:30pm 7:00 pm! Click here to register with USA Hockey online. 2008 Bantam/High School Summer ConditioningJune 1 – Aug 17 Sundays 6:00 pm -7:30 pm $110.00/Player $55.00/Goalie $11/Player or $5.50/goalie for Walk-On Stay in game shape this summer with our 12-week structured summer conditioning class for Bantams and High School players. Class will meet once per week. Classes will be led by USA Hockey Certified Level 4 Coach Doug Maddox. Doug has 15 years of coaching experience in addition to years of experience as a USA Hockey Official. Doug will be joined by several USA Hockey Certified Guest Instructors. The goal for the class will be to keep players in game shape and the format will be skills and drills. Players will have fun while participating in unique drills during the hour and a half long up-tempo workout. All skill levels are accepted; skating experience is necessary and full equipment is required.

(for individual practice or private lessons) 2008 Summer Stick and Puck Schedule* The regular weekly stick and puck sessions for spring and summer (May-August) at I/WSA include the following sessions: Mondays, Tuesdays (June- August), Wednesdays, Thursdays: 7:15-8:15pm Fridays, 5:45-6:45pm Saturdays, 12:15-1:15pm All Ages $5 per player Goalies are FREE Helmet, Skates, and Pucks are required! Please be advised that this schedule is subject to cancellation or change. PLEASE check the FACILITY SCHEDULE to verify each session. **Please note there is a $20 processing fee for all cancellations by participant. **All summer hockey programs are subject to cancellation by I/WSA.
